Sydney Anderson was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho. In her youth, she was actively involved in 4-H and FFA programs at the local, state and national level. She has successfully earned two associate degrees in Agriculture Business and Equine Studies from the College of Southern Idaho. She later continued her education at the University of Idaho where she earned her B.S. in Agriculture Science, Communication and Leadership Development.

Alongside her education, she has embarked on many supplemental internship experiences, including working beside the previous United States Department of Agriculture Secretary, Sonny Perdue, served as an International Relations Intern for the California Chamber of Commerce and traveled to South Africa for the International Leadership Seminar for State Officers through the National FFA Organization. She currently serves as a local 4-H leader and active Nampa FFA Alumni. After spending time in Colorado, she is happy to invest in her roots again and forage her passion for service in Idaho Agriculture. Sydney wishes to serve the growers and producers of the Idaho Barley Commission and provide resources to educate others on the importance of one of Idaho’s major commodities. Sydney is thrilled to continue the success of this organization and insert her knowledge and skills into our business model. We are very excited to have her as part of the team!
